Look what hubby bought me

So, I've been begging my husband for months for an elliptical and yesterday he got me one!! Woo Hoo!!! :) It is the ONE piece of fitness equipment that I loved at the gym and it is such a great overall workout. I can't wait for the hubby to put it together tonight so I can use it.

On the food front, I'm happy to have lost 0.2 over the holiday weekend where we went camping. I didn't overeat or anything, but I wasn't watching what I was eating either. So, I'm glad to have lost a "little" something. But, back at this week full force. Yesterday was a good day and I'm going to keep the momentum going.

On June 3rd, there will be a new challenge starting over at Sisterhood Of The Shrinking Jeans. I can't wait, I L O V E challenges as it keeps me motivated and held accountable. They have weigh-in's on Wednesdays challenge or not, so I'm going to head over there now and post my weight.

Last Week: 167.4
This Week: 165.8
Down -1.6

Some new goodies!

So, as I was scanning through channels on the tv the other night, I happened upon QVC which had Ali Vincent from the Biggest Loser promoting a bunch of Biggest Loser products. It was very interesting to watch and of course got me to order a few things. One being this:

I can't wait to get it! This little gadget displays your body fat, body water, muscle mass, and bone mineral mass as well as your weight to give you an all-around picture of your fitness. In addition, this scale stores these measurements. Also, the daily caloric reference helps you maintain your current weight if you are ready for maintenance.

This is the Biggest Loser Digital Ultra Thin Food Scale with Nutrition Facts. It comes in four different colors to choose from.
By simply weighing your food before you eat it, you can get a true picture of how much fat, cholesterol, sodium, fiber, protein, carbohydrates, and calories you are ingesting--no guesswork required! Check it out here.

So, those are my newest purchases. I will give a review on both of them when I get them. Should arrive in about a week!
Have a Great Weekend! :)

Here I Go Again

This dieting thing is a vicious cycle! I did so well last year losing 22 pounds and just as quickly as it came off, it just as quickly came back on. I'm not trying to use excuses here by saying that my thyroid was WAY off and was on about 4 different doses before we got it under control. In the meantime, my weight crept back up or more so JUMPED back up. All of my 'tight' clothes that got 'loose' are again 'TIGHT'! So what does one do when they feel like crap? They eat and then they eat some more. I won't even mention the horrible fatigue that goes along with the thyroid and eating crappy.

So I'm here once again. I do believe that keeping up with this blog helps and the challenges from other blogs keeps me motivated. So with that said I will be joining this challenge:

I believe it ends on May 20th, so better late than never. I'm sure there will be another challenge to follow.

And this one which starts today:

I Shred with the Sisterhood!

Hopefully all goes well.
